Whole child development

Learning through play

Sensory learning

St Teresa’s Kindergarten uses “developmentally appropriate” teaching practices to suit both the needs and levels of the children. Our curriculum was designed and developed to cater for each child’s whole person developmental needs. We make use of “Thematic approach” to engage children in learning about daily experiences in a theme based teaching style. Our teachers make learning relevant, interesting and fun. Children learn through individual, small group teaching and whole class activities. They are encouraged to Wonder, Think, Feel and Imagine. We hope to engage children in loving to learn, to be positive, to be happy and to love and care for others.

We guide our children in developing moral outlook on life in accordance with the teachings of the Core Values of Catholic education: Pursue of Truth, Uphold Justice, Value Love, Life and Treasure Family. We educate our children with these core values in lessons, daily interactions and activities. We hope to envelope a Christ-like culture, a prayerful, thanks giving, enthusiastic and optimistic life style into our children’s daily practices.
